Chairman and Managing Director

Shri Kishor Rungta is presently working as the Chairman and Managing Director of The Fertilisers  and Chemicals Travancore Limited (FACT), a Government of India Enterprise under the Department of Fertilisers, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilisers, since 02.02.2019.  Previously he has worked in the capacity of Director (Finance) of Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL), a Public Sector Undertaking under the Department of Atomic Energy since 01.02.2013.  He has also worked as Director (Finance) and Acting Chairman & Managing Director of Hindustan Cables Limited, National Instruments Limited and Bharat Bhaari Udyog Limited.He has got almost 16 years of Board Level experience in various Public Sector Undertakings.

Shri Kishor Rungta is a qualified Cost Accountant and Law Graduate.  He had an illustrious career of over 33 years in different Industrial Establishments of repute both in Public and Multinational Private Sector Companies also like Grasim Industries, Modi Group of Industries, Essar Steel, ISPAT Industries, MMTC promoted Steel Plant in Orissa covering sectors such as Cement, Steel, Cables, Strategic Electronics and others in different capacities.

Director(Marketing and Technical)

Shri D Nanda Kumar is a graduate in Mechanical Engineering from College of Engineering, Trivandrum, with MBA from Cochin University of Science and Technology, joined FACT as Management Trainee in 1981. 

He has held the posts of Construction Engineer in FEDO, Chief Manager in Petrochemical Division, General Manager and Chief General Manager in the Marketing Division before taking over as the Director (Marketing).


Shri Umesh Dongre   Director (Finance), RCF Ltd., has taken additional charge of Finance Director, FACT on 1st February 2019.

Mr. Dongre is a Fellow CMA from the Institute of Cost Accountants of India and belongs to Indian Cost Accounts Service (ICoAS). An officer of ICoAS 1991 batch, he has vast experience of Costing and Pricing of wide variety of products and dealt with project evaluation proposals of Government of India. He has also experience of working on Urea Subsidy in Fertilizer Industry Coordination Committee (FICC). He occupied several important positions as ICoAS officer in Department of Fertilizers, Department of Public Enterprise, Directorate of Sugar and Department of Expenditure, apart from initial working tenure in a CPSE and NABARD. Prior to joining Director (Finance), he was Advisor (Cost), Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance. He has also Masters in Commerce from Osmania University.

Dr. Jyoti Kaushal Sheth Dr. Jyoti Kaushal Sheth is a Doctor by profession and is practicing at Vadodara, Gujarat. She is actively engaged in various social activities. She conducts workshops and seminars in Communication and Leadership under transaction module. Presently she is a Director, Central Social Welfare Board, Gujarat and Director, Mahila Utkarsh Kendra, Vadodara.

Dr. K P S Nair Dr. K P S Nair is a retired Professor & Principal and Head of Department of Mechanical Engineering, School of Engineering, Cochin University of Science and Technology. He is also a technocrat and management expert. He is having rich experience in educational, industrial and management field and closely associated with various professional bodies like National Safety Council, National Productivity Council, etc.

Dr. Murali S Dr. S.Murali is a doctor by profession practicing at Bangalore and he is actively engaged in various social activities. He is Assistant Commissioner, St. John’s Ambulance Brigade. He has published and presented papers in various conferences/ seminars.

Prof. B Vijayakumar Prof. B Vijayakumar, M.Sc, Ph D, is a retired Associate Professor of Physics from NSS College, Kottayam, Kerala. He is having 32 years teaching experience and has published many books in Malayalam and English. He is associated with many social and cultural forums and holds key positions in them too.

Dr. Gangidi Manohar Reddy Dr. Gangidi Manohar Reddy, M.Sc, Ph D was a Lecturer in Hyderabad. He is having rich experience in Educational and Management fields. He is closely associated with various educational and charitable institutions at Hyderabad. He has organized many seminars and conferences at National and International levels in the fields of Science and Technology.

Ms Alka Tiwari  Ms. AlkaTiwari, belongs to 1988 batch of Indian Administrative Service. Presently she is Joint Secretary, Department of Fertilizers, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers. She has held number of key positions in State Government of Jharkhand and Government of India. She also served as Adviser to the NITI Ayog.

Ms. Gurveen Sidhu Ms. Gurveen Sidhu, 1995 batch IA&AS officer serves as Joint secretary of Department of Fertilisers. She is a Government of India Nominee Director on the Board of FACT with effect from 27.04.2018. She has been Government Nominee Director of Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizer Ltd since April 2018. She has done CIA and CA. She has rich experience of working in the fields of accounts & entitlement, civil audit, receipt audit, commercial audit etc.

Chief Vigilance Officer

Shri T R ShajiA 1990 batch ITS officer, he had his graduation in Electronics and Communication Engineering from T K M College of Engineering, Kollam. He served ONGC, Mumbai and Cochin Shipyard Ltd before joining Telecom Service. He served BSNL in Kerala and Tamil Nadu. He had been working as Director in Department of Telecommunications, Kerala, before assuming charge as CVO, FACT.
